Icarus Spiros is my trollsona!

Icarus Spiros is a goldblood living on Alternia. He's generally disconnected from many of the social aspects of Alternia and focuses more on developing his skills and hobbies. His lusus, a giant two-headed snake, still resides in the very base of his hiveblock. He's obsessed with Mountain Dew, music, and the number 5.

Fetch Modus

His fetch modus is one of my own creation, the MUSIC modus. It's essentially a modus that requires a minor test of skill to retrieve any of your things. Putting something into the sylladex is simple and you can put in as many things as you have cards, like usual. To get something OUT of the sylladex, you must select the card and the accept your fate: the card will display an excerpt of sheet music, and will spawn a pure white generic version of the related instrument. To get your item back, you must perform the exerpt with decent accuracy. Until then, your only choices are to go without the item or eject your entire sylladex.
The modus has two settings: REGULAR and CHALLENGE. Regular mode will only present you with instruments that you have programmed in, while CHALLENGE mode can present you with any instrument that exists. Icarus Spiros has programmed in bassoon, tenor saxophone, piano, viola, and accordion.

Strife Specibus

He primarily fights using his 2xAxekind specibus, which includes both holding two axes and one single double-bladed axe. His favored weapon is a blue-and-red battleaxe named Wingshaver.
Just for kicks, he picked up a couple other stribe specibi. He has a Knifekind, which pairs well with his reed knife, and also a Bassoonkind. (Yes, it exists in the canon, even though it's never mentioned beyond a single image.) He also has a Keyboardkind specibus that helps him get around the general weight limit of the sylladex by carrying around an entire keyboard. He's always wanted to hit someone with it like a 2x4.

Appearance

He dresses much like other trolls: in a very similar outfit each day, with his symbol displayed boldly on his shirt. However, he does put a little bit more effort into wearing a less monochromatic outfit. He wears black jeans and an olive green sleeveless shirt over an off-white tshirt. His symbol, the Roman numeral V, is printed in gold on the green shirt. He wears mismatched red and blue fingerless gloves on the opposite sides as his eyes, and the soles of his combat boots are mismatched red and blue as well but on the same sides as his eyes.
His hair is typical troll hair: black, and quite scruffy. It's long but layered, and he technically has bangs but they tend to part. He has four horns. The larger two are in a sort of single zig-zag shape, and the smaller ones curve outwards.
His eyes have the classic yellow sclera and goldblood mismatched hues, with the blue in his right eye and the red in his left. He does technically wear glasses... I just don't draw them. They're gold aviator sunglasses with mirrored lenses, one blue, one red. They are usually opposite colors as the eyes beneath, but I forget that so I've decided that he just has two pairs.
While farther from canon, I like to include my own elements to troll design: I give him mismatched leathery wings, two flicking tails with a tuft of black hair at the end, and doubled pointy ears. I also like the idea of mismatched color biology, with him having a "red side" and a "blue side" biologically (would show up the most in things like "grub scars" and the like.) I also gave him sharp pointy teeth because I like them.

Behavior

He's sassy and silly :] He's basically just a lot like me lol. I wonder why.

Typing Quirk

He types in the color #ed9700, which doesn't align with how trolls often type in their blood color, but I like orange.
His typing quirk involves music, and splits up all of the words into even chunks of syllables based on whatever time signature was declared at the beginning of the sentence. Measures are denoted with a vertical line (|) and the end of a sentence is denoted with a double bar (||). Combined with this, his upbringing with a giant snake for a lusus has left some marks: every instance of the letter S is typed 5 times. Numbers are usually written in Roman numerals, and every instance of the letter V is capitalized. Here's a few samples of this in use.

• There is a Mountain Dew Shrine on one of the shelves in his respiteblock.
• His best friend is a jadeblood named Magnus Seraph :]
• He does have the typical goldblood psionics, and uses them every so often to help him carry things.
• Even though he's not the best at it, he likes to keep houseplants.
• I made a very short visual novel game for a friend's birthday, and thus made a lot of sprites for it. A few of them are in the gallery!
• His obsession with 5 also means he enjoys things like 5 pointed stars.
