Fascinating read. It was your typical short-form 1950s science fiction story, honestly. There was a lot of "futuristic science" from the viewpoint of the 50s, a lot of unnecessary details about the female body, and honestly just some confusing leaps in logic. It was a silly read, but if it had been any longer it would've started to drag. Worth it for the 3 bucks it cost me.
I really really liked this book... it's the precursor to all those liminal horor games, honestly. I looked like a maniac reading it because of how you have to hold the book but the creativity of the medium was stunning. It was confusing at times, but honestly well worth it.
This was so awesome. I love Junji Ito's work and his stories are so creative. Some of the designs are unsettling to look at, which is just showing how good a job he does. Not his first work I've read. Looking forward to reading more of his books.
